SanDisk SDMX14R-004GK-A57 Customer Reviews

"Don't waste your time with the iPod Nano if all you want is audio!"
I won an iPod nano a few years ago, and it was nice to have. However, when it came time to buy an MP3 player, I couldn't stomach the price of Apple stuff as usual! The Fuze is a nice fit and comes with way more features than the comparable Nano (memory size) and far less the amount of money. I have yet to try the video feature yet, but for music, it works great! Most importantly, it works well with Linux after you've configured it into the mass storage mode. It acts like a USB drive that you mount in Linux, and then you just copy your songs into the music directory. I have also been impressed with the battery life as well, and I like the fact that I can add more storage capacity if I need to in the future.

"Does almost everything seamlessly"
I'm a former ipod user and was looking for a compact player that easily fits in my pocket with a large memory capacity and solid battery life. Look no further than the sansa. While only having 4GB internal storage, the slot takes a 16GB micro sd card (which can be had for pretty cheap these days). So you can store a ton of music with 20GB total. The battery life is pretty good. If you use this a lot (30-45 minutes to and from work each day) you'll probably have to charge it a couple of times a week, but that's no big deal considering how unobtrusive it is size wise. I like the spin wheel on the front, the functions and buttons are different to an ipod, but the functions are fairly intuitive. My only complaint is that the video sync is a bit of a pain, but I don't really use it anyway. In addition the price can't be beat.

"SanDisk Sansa"
Everything I wanted in a MP3 player: not to much GB good sound and reasonable price

"Save Your Money on an IPod"
Great Mp3 player, with FM radio. If you want a music player for working out this is the one for you. Why spend all the money on an IPod?

"More Features Than What I Need"
My main use of the SanDisk is for playing music so I am not familar with the quality of the other features but it does a great job of organizing all my different types of music by Genres. I downloaded Stamp ID3 Tag Editor and can reorganize and play the music by Genre or select from all the music. It is very compact and the battery last well past my expectations. I also purchased the case with the belt clip and arm band, and the USB home and car charger which came as one accessory.
