"This is about the 5th Sansa Clip for our household" My wife and I are hooked on recorded books, which are available through an online library at no cost, using our library cards from our local public library. Over a period of three or four years we have each had a couple. We have lost some, and with the last couple we have had to replace, the namesake clip broke. Actually, in both of them the spring in the clip broke, not the clip itself. Fortunately, replacement costs have fallen over the years. My wife did search the internet for replacement clips but could not find any. We are extremely satisfied with the ease of using a Sansa Clip. Books are extremely easy to both load and erase. While most books from the library are WMA, recently MP3 books have been added. The Sansa Clip easily plays both types and it is transparent to the listener which type is being played. The 2Mb capacity suits both of us for listening to books. That is enough space for 8 or 10 complete books. The included ear-buds do not fit either of us. We each have our own preferences for replacements. We always purchase different colors to easily distinguish which belongs to who. I purchased the pink one for my wife as a Mothers Day gift. But I went with the free shipping and although I ordered at least 10 days prior to Mothers Day, it did not arrive on time.
"Died after two days." The device was great for the first two days. Downloading was easy, and the sound quality was great. Then, on the second day, the screen went black. I charged the device overnight, but it hasn't ever worked again.I guess you get what you pay for. Luckily, Amazon is good about refunds.
"good player" We have owned or own 3-4 of these players, use them for audiobooks; are a great product for the money.
"Sansa Clip - best MP3 for running/working out" It clips on and stays on to anything you want. Ideal for running. Also love that I can just copy my music files onto it rather than deal with downloading software and having to use that to put music on it. Super easy to put music on it and it works really great.
"Perfect" When I bought this I wasn't expecting a whole lot. What I got was a great mp3 player. I am a mac person but really do not want to spend the ipod price. Bonus-the recorder and FM capability-which work great for me. I have transfered an audio book to it as well. This player is so much better than I expected. I have had it for a few weeks and use it everyday.
