PE 200X Customer Reviews
"Cheap design, not good for use in the car" I primarily use my MP3 player in the car while driving, so i need a player that will function with out problems as well as be easy enought to use so i don't have to take my eyes off the road to change songs, this player is not meant for that. the recessed touch screen makes it nearly impossible for someone like my self with larger fingers to get the little buttons to work with out the stylus. This player felt rather cheap in my hands compared to the philips that i had been using. i had loaded my entire collection of music on to the player (about 3,000 songs) and the player seemed very slow to transition from song to song. I also was not crazy about the back ground images that came with this player (again they just weren't for me) this player might be good for a small child / teenager, maybe i would have liked it better if i were 15 years younger. i ended up returning this player and rec'd a quick refund, i ended up buying a sony 16gb player and this suited my needs much better. Thanks to Amazon for a quick response to my issues with this player.

"THIS IS A PIECE OF JUNK!!!!!!!!!! >:(" THIS IS A WASTE OF YOUR MONEY. It only lasted for 8 days before the screen died and it didn't work at all. This doesn't work at all. It can't even play iTunes downloads. It doesn't play any widely downloadable formats (mp4 etc...). The sound is alright but there is a huge lag in the sound (2 seconds). The instruction booklet doesn't use proper english or spelling. I mean, how hard is it to press the #*$%! spell check button. There is also a couple of REALLY sucky jokes on a part that don't use spelling or grammar that a fourth grader could use properly. It is a cheesy waste of money that could be better spent on an iPod. The only reason that it is so inexpensive is because it is going to fall apart a matter of days after you buy it. You can't download ANY games onto it. I bought it for games and videos. The videos have a huge audio lag and the games can't be downloaded. I think you should NOT buy this P.O.S. unless you want to be scammed by a 3rd rate company that will take you for a sucker and cheat you out of hard earned money that could be spent on something worthwhile (ex: videogame, starting money for an iPod touch, a bunch of books(don't judge me. I like to read), or something). The video quality is grainy even if you download an HD movie onto it. The songs don't play by artist it is in alpha-numerical(number of the song for those that are numbered and the song itself for those that aren't)order. The radio has NO range at all and it doesn't pick up channels that my brother's Walkman can pick up with no static at all from the exact same spot in a room. It comes with the most cheesy pair of headphones that you will ever get. You can't hear them if there is any noise but the person next to you can hear them better than you can and you are constantly being told to "turn it down". If I can save you from buying a worthless piece of crap I will have done a good deed for the day.
If there are any spelling mistakes I am sorry. It is late and I am tired and mad. I hope I don't sound critical and don't crush anyone's dreams of owning one of these lovely pieces of junk.
P.S. I am only 14 and I can rant about this piece of crap for that long. Well, I hope I helped someone out there. The mp whatever was hardly used at all and was kept in a safe place at all times. Believe me. I've kept an original nintendo D.S. (early 2000s) alive in good shape for this long with heavy use and a lot of playing time on the way to vacations(2.5+ hours each way).
For any and all of you that have read this good luck and DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE.

"I RECEIVED A DUD!" I purchased this because I wanted to replace my IPOD. You could tell right away from the feel of it that it was not as well built as the IPOD. I tried to charge it and after 2 hours I could play it while being plugged in. I decided to see if I could load some songs to it and plugged it into my computer. When I did the computer didn't recognize it. I then decided to keep charging it, however, it did not take a charge after 12 hours of it being plugged in. What a bummer, I was thoroughly disappointed. I have to return it and I will not ever buy this item again.Pro Ebiz NEW 16gb 3" TFT Touchscreen Mp3 / Mp4 / Mp5 Player (Plays Avi/rm/rmvb/flv Without Conversion)

"Worth Every Penny" I love this player. Love it. It's my favorite player that I've ever owned (at least 6). I use it constantly and will continue to until I buy my Nexus 1 in a few months, which will become my new player as well as my phone. After that, this will become my MP3 jukebox for my livingroom stereo. Read the other reviews, weed out the reviews of confused people, make note of the customer support replies to a few complaints in the reviews, make notes about the reviews that comment about the customer service, then buy this player. Off-brand electronics are hit or miss, and I'm as apprehensive as anyone, but I took a chance and didn't get burned on this one. It is everything it is advertised to be.
About the reviews... Ok, I read all of the reviews before I decided to purchase this player. Most of the bad reviews seemed to be more about confused people than about a bad product. I found this out myself. The player is Awesome! Like several reviewers, I found that the included USB cable was junk. Just throw it out, as it is a super-common, inexpensive, standard cable anyway. I already had 5 of them laying around the house from other old players and digital cameras, so I really didn't care. It only costs like $5 to replace anyway.
On to the player, aside from the cable, I had no issues whatsoever with this player. You don't know how many times it has fallen out of my shirt pocket while gardening or out of my jacket while I was running to catch a train. It landed on the concrete, skidded, got a little ugly, but still worked flawlessly every time. For the price, it can't be beat.
The screen is a resistive touch screen, not a capacitive one (ipod touch for example), so you do have to actually touch the screen firmly. I like this, because I know that I'm only doing what I mean to do on the screen, since a casual grazing won't do much (to a point).
While the contrast/brightness may be a little low for some movies, the video playback is great. In fact, I watch videos while I wait for my laundry or while I wait for a bus/train (in the evening). It isn't day-light readable (it also doesn't claim to be), which is a problem on bright days, but not so bad on an overcast day. Battery life is great, in fact it lasts at least double what my old player did and doesn't drain the battery when off (also unlike my last player - RCA). While it doesn't play when connected to the PC (no player does, so this is normal), this DOES play while plugged into the wall charging (again, unlike my last player), so if all you want to do is load it then play it and keep charging this will work great. I plugged it in for a long trip and listened to it the whole trip (amtrak) and still got to have a full battery when I arrived (my old one would be dead by then). The included USB wall adapter was a great touch. Thankfully, my motorola bluetooth headset uses the same usb connection to charge, so I can use that wall charger for this as well, allowing me to have a charger at work and home.
It does not support PDF files (perhaps future models will?), it's menu is a little odd at times, but no more-so than other products I've used (mostly name-brand).
I recommended this to a co-worker, who bought one of the other models and loves it too. In fact, she thanks me for the referral weekly.
